Pawsitive Furkids Pte. Ltd. is a Singapore-registered dog training academy founded by lifelong dog devotees and accredited trainers, Patrick Koh and Veronica Tan. In 2012, their devotion and boundless love for their furkids inspired them to seek out better methods of pet training. Pawsitive Furkids' mission is to transform pet training into a Pawsitive experience for both furkid and humans alike. We are ardent advocates of positive reinforcement pet training methods as it creates a safe, stress-free, and happy environment conducive to learning.

We are AVS-Accredited Certified (AVS-ACDT) in Singapore and are Knowledge-Accessed (CPDT-KA).

Patrick Koh

Patrick has honed his methods under the expert tutorship of well-renowned animal behavioural expert, Peggy O. Swager, is Low-Stress Handling® Silver Certified, and is a certified Project ADORE trainer with SPCA, SOSD (Dog Shelter Volunteer & Donation Singapore) & MARS (Mercylight Animal Rescue Shelter).  Patrick’s success in coaching his canine charges is a testament to these techniques which he has used to successfully communicate with dogs of all types. He is well experienced in coaching shy, stubborn, or even unfriendly dogs. In his capable hands, frightened dogs will become confident, and rowdy pets will be transformed into obedient furkids.

Veronica Tan

Veronica is a Certified Trick Dog Instructor (CTDI) and Canine Conditioning Fitness Coach  (CCFC), as well as a Stunt Dog Judge with Do More With Your Dog!, the world’s leading trick dog organisation. She was awarded Trainer of the Year by CTDI in 2020. Veronica has trained countless dogs to achieve the highest attainment – the prestigious Trick Dog Champion title. She believes that showmanship breeds mutual understanding and a more fulfilling relationship. Her classes on dog tricks build confidence, respect, and abilities; elevating canine friendships to a higher level.
